With Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko thrown in to hold Aguero s back in attack the diminutive Argentine decided it was the perfect time to end his team’s misery. A world-class striker that he is Aguero stepped up to the plate to show his class and help City win title in unforgettable fashion.
Aguero received a ball from Mario Balotelli in the 95th minute of the match and drove into the box with his trademark pace before unleashing a powerful low shot into the corner to send the entire stadium into a delirium.
The Argentine confessed to have cried a bit after that moment which made him one of Manchester City’s greatest players alive.

Five years onwards and Sergio Aguero enjoys a cult status at Etihad. His reputation got a bit tarnished last season when new manager Pep Guardiola questioned his work-rate in defensive duties, while also pushing him down the pecking order behind the red-hot Brazilian sensation Gabriel Jesus.
Sergio Aguero did not waste any tears over it and reacted like a true professional that he is – by working hard and responding in the best way possible. In a season which was regarded as a rather difficult for him Aguero still managed to find the back of the net 33 times in 45 appearances, thus maintaining his impressive scoring rate and sending Guardiola a clear message.
The Spaniard understood it and started to change his playing model to accommodate both Aguero and Jesus in what has this season become one of the most lethal attacking partnerships in Europe.
A reward for Sergio Aguero’s relentless attitude and top-class mentality came on Wednesday when Argentine forward became Manchester City’s all-time leading goalscorer.
Aguero surpassed Eric Brook and his 177-goal tally for Citizens to sit top of the scoring chart with 178 goals from 264 appearances. The achievement gets more impressive knowing that Aguero did in a significantly lower number of games than Brook who scored his 177 goals in 494 games.
